The brand began as a form of self-care. As a social worker, Hannah started beading during quiet moments outside of work as a creative outlet. What started as a personal hobby quickly grew when people began asking where they could purchase the pieces.

Recognizing that high-fashion beaded bags are not easy to find in Canada and are often expensive to import, Luxe Beads by HM was created to bring beautifully handcrafted beaded fashion to women in Canada and beyond. Materials are sourced from Lagos, Nigeria, and each piece is carefully handmade. During larger orders, Hannah collaborates with skilled beaders in Nigeria, supporting artisan craftsmanship while maintaining quality.

Today, Luxe Beads by HM serves customers in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, with a vision to reach women around the world while creating more opportunities for artisans involved in the craft.
